Milk contains 2 main types of protein, casein and whey. Casein makes up about 80% of total protein, and beta casein makes up about 30% of all caseins. There are 2 types of beta-casein, type 1 and type 2. A mutation in a single amino acid changed A2 to A1, and the digestion result is a peptide called BCM-7. Scientists believe it is BCM-7 that causes most of the stomach discomfort and symptoms people experience when consuming dairy products. A simple genetic test can determine whether a cow produces the A1 protein, A2 protein or a combination. Try A2 and enjoy milk again!

Creamline means the milk has not been separated and standardized to a certain fat percentage, you get the milk exactly the way it comes out of the cow. This means it could change by the season, diet, or by the number of days the cows have been milking.
All the milk bottled by Destiny Dairy Bar is pasteurized by lowest levels proved to be safe and effective. This leads to intact, undamaged proteins that your body can use to rebuild, repair, restore and grow! (It also makes great at home cheese!)
None of the milk is homogenized, so remember to shake well! The cream rises to the top!!
We rotate our flavors weekly, so keep checking back to see if your favorite is in stock!

Our founding generation of Stover Farms, John and Julia Stover grew up farming around the Carlisle area. Julia started on Bloserville Road on a small farm, and moved to Walnut Bottom road where they milked 40 cows and can remember carrying milk in milk cans and the transition to pipelines! Julia graduated in the Boiling Springs class of 1958 and worked as a key punchboard operator at the GR Kenny Corporation. Her milkman, Curtis Stover, would often joke and tell her she should wait around for a marine (his son) returning home soon.
The Stover Family moved around the area a lot, crop and tenant farming, farming where the Carlisle Hospital and All Better Care is now for many years, as well as hauling milk for Irwins Dairy in the 1950’s. John, the marine, Boiling Springs class of 1955, returned home from overseas and showed up on her doorstep with his younger sister to ask her out on a double date!
