Amy is the 3rd generation to milk cows at Stover Farms on Horners Road in Carlisle. She got her B.S. in Animal Science from Cornell University in 2004 and her M.S. in Dairy Nutrition from University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2006. She was able to study for a semester at Massey University in Palmerston North, New Zealand, and had always been very active in her local 4-H clubs as a kid. Amy is the Herd Manager, milks the herd, monitors herd health, activity and productivity and makes decisions with the focus on the health and comfort of each cow.
Amy loves introducing people to what she describes as the superhero's, her cows. She has believed that it has been her destiny to open the farm to bring consumers close to where their food comes from, and provide the highest quality dairy products in a local, sustainable way!
Amy has 2 boys, Graeson, 16, and Colter, 14, in the Cumberland Valley School District.
Julia, the first generation on Stover Farms, continues to support the family by feeding calves each day, twice a day! She helps train all calf feeders, and uses her keen eye to watch all babies in the greenhouse! Colter is a 9th grader at the Cumberland Valley 9th Grade academy and works at the store when he isn't practicing the piano!
Matt is a trained chef who has worked Mandalay Bay, Paris Casino, Palms Casino, Kona Grill as soux chef and various other positions. In addition to now managing business operations at Destiny Dairy Bar, he is actively learning dairy foods safety, cheesemaking, beekeeping and dairy farming.
Ann is a member of the 2nd generation to milk cows at Stover Farms. Ann grew up in 4-H, and passed her love of cows, and eye for detail to her daughter Amy. Ann is well known for her generosity and her impeccable taste as she hosts events on the farm.

Rafael milks, feeds, and helps keep the farm neat and clean. He is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico! Rafael is always excited to learn new things and cares deeply for the health of the cows and other animals!

Call it fate! Destiny has joined our team to focus on interaction with kids and to help with all the animals at the Petting Farm! She's dove in head first and is excited to keep learning and doing.
